DESCRIPTION:

In this course you will learn textile jewelry techniques focused on Japanese cords, Kumihimo 組み紐, where you will learn to make ropes and interlacing. And finally, finishes to apply to your jewelry or textile projects.


WHO IS IT ADDRESSED TO:

This course is aimed at people who want to expand their knowledge of textiles and people linked to the field of metal jewelry who want to connect or experiment with other materials, textile artists and people with no previous experience who are passionate about learning something new.

OBJECTIVES :

-Know traditional techniques applied to textile work that are located in jewelry or textile projects; through exercises and orientation to projects and personal interests.
-Understand the technical and execution aspects of each type of cord, braid, rope and endings from the Japanese cord.
-Apply initially the techniques learned to a textile jewelry project or textile art project.
