Textile Art Exhibition "Bud Na Bud - Once upon a time or not" at MACBA
Bud Na Bud is a project formed by twelve Afghan refugee women who arrive in Barcelona fleeing the war.
Together, despite the difficulties, they carried out a guided process of collective artistic creation , in which the life stories of the group members were woven together through embroidery.
He right to education For Afghan women, it is the theme that runs through their work. Embroidery is their voice and the recognition of artisan knowledge of each one. The group is made up of different generations and each one has become textile storytellers and in artists of vindication .
